Battlefield Diaries

It’s been four weeks now since I have talked about that despicable person who currently occupies the Oval Office. That is about to drastically change. Starting September 1 I am going into the full battle mode. I will say up front, that I am more fearful for our democracy than I have even been in my lifetime. It is precariously perched on a knife’s edge and could fall to a tragic and quick demise!

There are just too many lazy minds who will vote for him this coming November regardless of what he does or says. Are there enough of them to give him another term? I just don’t know, so I am going to do everything possible to try and convince anyone who will listen that our very existence as a country is likely at stake.

This is the most important election in my lifetime and probably in our country’s existence.

I know that there are many others in this battle in the next 70 days. I hope to convince anyone who might come upon this blog that apathy could have destructive consequences sooner than any of them realize. I very much encourage you to provide your thoughts on this critical topic so that others might see that I am not alone in this struggle.

For the next two week until September I will be putting out a number of Battlefield Snippets here on RJsCorner. They will mostly be quick things from the many sources available on this topic. My words and thoughts will not be attached to these snippets. I will reserve that for my post-Labor Day assault.

I pray most of you will not be offended by this full throated frontal attack, but if you are then maybe you should look elsewhere for your daily reads for a while because that is where I am going.

Even if the pandemic is still around January 21, 2021, it will likely be the happiest day of my life. That is if we win the war in the trenches in the coming two months.

  1. I applaud your choice. Many voices are needed in this chorus of dissatisfaction with the CO3. This administration has utterly failed in its response to the pandemic. That alone should preclude a potential second term. But his abuse of the rule of law and disrespect for both science and our government institutions give me great cause to fear for our future. Criticism of his enablers in Washington is also deserved. The Republicans in Congress have kowtowed to the CO3 and ignored their oversight responsibilities, effectively encouraging increasingly outrageous behavior. All involved in this travesty should be held to account.

    1. Thanks for your thoughts Mark, and welcome to RJsCorner. All of us sane people have to convince everyone just how important it is to vote in 78 days. This guy is a dangerous embarrassment to our country.
