Screen glare is one of my pet peeves. My laptop computer is aging and I would really like to get a replacement. But it seems all laptops now for sale have the mirror like screens! I guess they are handy if you want to continuously check to make sure your hair is combed or maybe to keep anyone from sneaking up on you from behind but as far as reading what is on the screen they are the dumps.  You almost have to be in a completely dark room to be able to use them.  I know the colors are supposed to be brighter with glossy screens that doesn’t make up the the lack of readability. But I guess it would be pretty good exercise having to constantly be adjusting the screen for the latest glare point :)

I know I am not the only one out there who believes this so I can’t understand why at least one of the major computer makers doesn’t make a matte screen laptop. I would even pay extra for that feature.

But what do I know…..
