OK, this mountainous Canadian cold is finally beginning to loosen its grip on me so I will start my regular blogging again soon. There is so much that has happened since my hiatus it is hard to even try to figure out where to begin. I will be thinking about that in the coming few days and will begin building an advanced inventory of posts (I usually write a post about a week or so before it is actually used. That gives me plenty of chances to edit and re-edit). :)
- With all this budget and deficit stuff going on now I probably have enough to cover six months worth of posting on that topic alone. But with my new policy of not posting about something unless I can do it in a friendly and joking manner may restrict that somewhat.
- While we were on our Canadian adventure we took over 300 picture of old barns. I will certainly be using them in the “Old Barns” category.
- I learned a lot of lessons, both personal and otherwise, while touring our neighbors to the north. I will bringing those stories to you in several of the categories of RJ’s Corner.
- Having to end our vacation early due to health issues has brought to mind several posts in the “Waiting for God” area about senior livings. I will be passing on some of that new-found knowledge soon.
I finally start back cooking at the soup kitchen on Friday. I truly miss my friends there. That is just one of the places the Lord meant for me to be in this final period of my life. I think once I get started there the rest of the things plaguing me now will quickly disappear. It will be nice to get back to the usual grind.
But what do I know.
