Topeka KS – Brown vs Board of Education Historic Site

Brown vs The Board of Education was a landmark case that launched the Civil Rights movement in America. It was the time that we finally forced upon an unwilling populace that everyone has a right to equal opportunity in America. There was, and to some degree still is, a lot of hatred in this decision. It shocked me to see that on the picture above. I wonder what that young girl with the totally hateful look in the picture thinks about it now?  Is she still scowling? The building is an old school-house but well worth the visit if you are in the area.
