Galena, IL – Wall Signs

Before the Interstate highways and the resulting billboards came along wall signs such as the one above were the primary means for a business to advertise.  It made me want to have a drink at the emporium. Unfortunately unlike the faded sign the emporium is no longer in business. :)13
