One of the most unique museums I have ever been to was The National Museum of Psychology at the University of Akron. It is agonizingly amassing how far we have come in the last 100 years of treating people with mental health problems. But those advances, like many others, have often been stifled because of political differences. The below photo is an example of that.

The Republican Party, particularly since President Reagan, has repeatably kept progress from being made because of their macho belief that everyone should be able to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps.
