I have never been to London, but I have seen much of it when I watch “House Hunters International” while eating my daily lunch. And of course, I am currently watching the latest version of The Crown on Netflix. So, when I visited Canada’s National Capital in Ottawa, I could see similarities between the two. The picture above just spews out pomp and circumstance to me. I think that door was to the National Library, but I could be wrong.

We spent 3 days in Ottawa in 2011, and enjoyed it very much. I have shown you numerous mosaics of what I call Reflections (old buildings reflecting off the newer glass buildings in the area.) I, personally, can’t appreciate the centuries old traditions that they hold so dear. To me, that just reminds me of the aristocracy/privilege of ancient times.
