I have always been infatuated with symmetry, so when I went by this structure I had to take a quick snapshot. I suspect that some of you recognized it right away. This is a close-up of Space Ship Earth at Disney World. Below you can see a more distant view.

I understand that Epcot, where this sphere resides, is in the renovation/replacement mode. I guess it is considered outdated now. But, it was my favorite of all the theme parks when I visited there in 2016. I guess now, if you want to learn about other countries you just jump on a plane and go there. History also seems to be on the wain, so that is a double whammy.
