Except for my pre-teen childhood years when I devoured Steinbeck, Jack London, and other such authors, I have never been a reader of fictional novels. I have devoured probably a thousand books on various subjects during my life. Most were biographies of people who I looked up to, and some who I just wanted to understand why they did so much contrary to goodness.

My thirty years as an engineer taught me to get to the point, and my seventeen years here at RJsCorner helped me to condense it down to 500 words or less.

There is so much now readily available to learn, so I just don’t have time to read a boring book when 500 words would have been enough to get the message across. Nietzsche was an interesting character whose life work was basically destroyed by those wanting to make money on him after his death.
