Life on the Margins – Outsider -Nonconformist -Eccentric – Maverick
Let me make it clear that when I talk about “Life On the Margins” or any of its other descriptions I am talking about people who:
- just don’t “fit in” for various reasons.
- possess a unique place in society.
- by choice or force, are different from those around them
- are often called “outsiders” or “eccentric”
- have not abandoned the world around them, but do live on the margins of society.
- may have their own rules on how to behave.
I am certainly one of those, and I suspect that many who come across RJsCorner, especially those who stick around, might also be living life on the margins.
We outsiders seem so “weird” because we question a large percentage of the assumptions that most others take for granted. Outsiders like me are generally happy with our lives.
I celebrate living on the margins as a nonconformist and want to show you that it can be a joyous and fulfilling life. We don’t need to follow the crowd and do what everyone else does. There is nothing wrong with discovering our unique path through life. Thinking outside the mainstream is in fact downright satisfying.
