Ironically, Sam Brownback is a Republican who has served in many different parts of governement including a Senator and Governor of Kansas. I wonder if he were still a Senator today, would he have the courage to repeat the above quote? I don’t follow politics much anymore as I don’t want to end my life on such a sour note. But it just seems to me that so many in political offices today are kowtowed to the current Oval Office Occupant who seems determined to obliterate all diversity in the U.S.
