We Are Killing Our Creativity With Constant Stimulation

I read a very interesting article the other day that caused me to have a different perception of boredom. Up until now I have always thought that boredom was a stifling agent to creativity. Fight boredom at all costs. Don’t let it become part of your life.

Could I have been wrong about this?

Here is a quote from the article that made me ask myself that question. If you want to see more of the article click HERE.

Boredom is a door, not a wall.

But there is a form of boredom that is always boring. Those are the times when you must mindlessly do the same thing over and over again. Another example is when you must take classes (for me it was college calculus) when you know you will NEVER use what they are forcing you to learn. 😖
