I think it is only appropriate that we start off this new series with a link to the past. I spent 2025 primarily in the doodling mode over at MyArtsySide. Maybe, as the quote says my doodles were just trying to tell me to look at the reflections.

As some of you know, I was a database designer in my corporate life so it was just expected that I would think this new project demanded a new database. I soon realized that it has been 26 years since I did that.

I struggled through about 20 hours attempting to make something that helped me with my WordPress activity. I quickly discovered that I am out of practice. The second thing I learned was that a database doesn’t really help, It actually made it more complicated. So hours of time wasted, but what else have I got to do? I gotta remember two important things. Simplify is my life theme now and not everything needs a database.🥸
