RetCom Life
RetCom Life is primarily about living in a retirement community, especially as a deaf and neurodivergent person (me). It includes stories and lessons learned during the first five years in my RetCom. There are currently some very heartfelt stories of my challenges, successes and failures of trying to find a happy life in my current circumstances.
As secondary topic for RetCom Life are of amore general nature such as:
- hints on how to choose the best community for you
- how to decide when to make the move, if ever
- general topics on aging
- general advice on getting old 🙃

Boomer Years
The name for this category of posts is “Boomer Years“.
It seems that the current trend is to blame us Boomers for all the problems in the world today. Yes, we are part of the problem, but we are also about all the things that generations after us take for granted. Boomer Years will be primarily about all the inventions and discoveries made during that time. Without those things all the following generations would have encountered a world much different that we have today.
It will also include my personal stories of living in the Boomer Years.
