A Snippet from RJsArtsySide
I’ve learned a lot about creativity in the last few years. So, I thought I would give you a sample of those lessons from my other blog at RJsArtsySide. Continue reading A Snippet from RJsArtsySide

My 2025 goal for RJsMosaic of Life is to fill in important holes in my life experience. To that end, here is one of those times. But, it absolutely needs a life story to explain it. One of the things … Continue reading Mosaic of Life #155 – Snowbound
I often kid about it, but it seems that I have to do something at least three times before it is good enough. With that in mind, I want to show you the current status of my artsy projects. The … Continue reading Mosaic Of Life – Good Is Never Good Enough
Maybe you noticed that RJsCorner’s layout is different than it has been. This layout is simply more conducive to my current direction for RJC. I am moving to a much more image oriented site with my “Mosaic of Life”, “MyArtsySide”. … Continue reading Somethings Different?
During my 55 years of traveling America I am always on the lookout for wall signs. This one is probably my favorite. I don’t really remember where it was taken. Continue reading Mosaic of Life #149 – Wall Signs
This post is a Mosaic post and a “Having My Say” post combined. Of course, that demands a story. Continue reading THE Mosaic…
I am having so much fun with my artsy projects, I just can’t seem to know where to stop. Continue reading How About “Honorable Mention”
The image above is another of my random thoughts of CLA (Clothesline Art). I am getting more comfortable with these off-the-wall images (you might call them doodles), but this is not a stopping point. Instead, it is just a part of the overall road traveled. Eventually I will get much more sophisticated with my art appreciation. That thought brings up a story I need to tell you. Continue reading Wild Is… And Where We Go From Here
Clothesline Art is a new project for 2025 here at RJsCorner. This is where I will be about me flexing my contemporary art muscles in 2025. I say this art is what my mind’s eye sees instead of what is actually there. Continue reading Announcement – The Artsy Side
Now that yet another summer is soon to pass, I thought I would give you another look at our Homestead Flowers. The flower beds above and throughout the rest of the yard were my wife’s territory. The veggie gardens were mine. I didn’t mess with hers, and she didn’t mess with mine. Continue reading Mosaic of Life #105 – Homestead Flowers
I know the title of this post title is kinda cryptic. It is a story about how I have changed my name over the years, to match where I am in my life. It’s strange to me that something we have to carry with us throughout our lives, we have no control over. I am ⅛ Native American, and I kinda like the idea that they don’t name their children until some particular characteristic exhibits itself. I asked my mother why she named me “Rodney Joe”, and she being a pretty extreme narcissist, admitted that she didn’t give it much … Continue reading Mosaic of Life #68 – Name Changes…
This picture was taken in 2009 of one of my wife’s many flowers she grew every year. I believe it is of the center of an old-fashioned day lily. One of the major themes of RJsMosaics is the beauty of flowers. I have taken hundreds of pictures of flowers, and many will likely find their place in my Mosaic project. The above image is the first one. (My digital cameras like my Sony RX10, and iPhone 14 just don’t do a very good job at close up, so I have resurrected my Canon EOS 6 DSLR with a macro lens … Continue reading Mosaic of Life #16 – Into The Depth
