Warren knows more about finances, making money, and taxes than anyone in Washington. And, I assume he is a Republican. I also assume that everyone of the folks running for the Republican nomination will find a reason to dismiss his analysis. Tea Party people will accuse him of being a closet Democrat, or evil personified.
When everyone of the candidates at the Iowa debate said they would reject a compromise that called for 10:1 ratio of spending cuts to revenue increases because includes any increases at all, then I suggest reality, compromise, and the future of our democracy is at risk.
The pure BS that lowering taxes on the rich causes job creation has been a lie for 30 years. Why no one can connect the dots and see that is clearly untrue is beyond me.
Buffet talks about his fear that we will slip into hopelessness. In this he may be behind the power curve.

Right on Bob.
And I know the other super-rich guy (Bill Gates) is in the same frame of mind as Buffet. As I have shown with several Will Rogers quotes, the Republicans have been coddling the rich for more than eighty years. As you say when will this false belief finally run its course?

Sorry Bob- Warren is not a Republican. He votes for the person and not the party. Listening to him the last 10 years- I would say he would probably consider himself an independent.
If trickle down works—then we all should be RICH! not unemployed!
