This was my second visit to the Grand Canyon in December 2005. We stayed at the park lodge just fifty feet away from this view. That is one of my dirty little secrets that park lodges are often some of the most affordable places to stay.

Amen! We used to drive up to the Canyon for sunrise and then make it back in time for classes. It is one of my favorite places ( and the lodges are excellent).
