That’s why they call it the “Present”.

This moment that you are presently living is the most precious one of your life. The past is the past, you can’t do anything about that. The future is just dreams until they are actually lived. Today is a gift of life. Live it to the fullest.

That has been a hard reality for me to accept. I have always been a dreamer about what the future holds. I have let much of the present get away from me, due to that fact. I was too busy dreaming to live each day to its fullest. I guess it takes getting older for this reality to finally sink in, but the sooner, the better.
