I never in my wildest childhood dreams thought I would live close to New York City, but that happened between 1996 -2000. During that time we had several of our Midwest clan visit and each expected a personal tour of the Big Apple. For the most part we obliged them.

I do have the actual photo that we took. It was made from Ellis Island in 1998.

Of course, The World Trade Center is no longer on that horizon but in my Mind’s Eye it will always be there.

As I told you in the first Clothesline Art entry on Wednesday, I am still in baby steps mode when it comes to this venue of artsy, so I am not really sure if my leanings are surrealism or Impressionism or something completely different. So I will give you both definitions.

I continue to learn something new everyday. That is what keeps my life interesting and fulfilling.
