Why Create A Mosaic Of Life?

Life is often described as a journey or an adventure, but another way to look at it is as a mosaic. For senior citizens, creating a “Mosaic of Life” can be an important way of looking back on our lives, to revisit pleasant moments, and even something to pass on our children and grandchildren via a video, picture albums, short stories or a combination thereof.
Just like a mosaic artist, we can always adjust and change our “tiles” to create perfect mosaic for ourselves. Each tile, each moment, is unique and contributes to the overall picture of our life. Some moments may seem insignificant, but even the smallest experiences can have a big impact.
A mosaic is made up of many individual tiles, and our lives are made up of many individual moments, experiences, and choices.
Our perspective on life has a huge impact on our experiences, and our “mosaic”. If we choose to see the world through a negative lens, we’ll only see the flaws and imperfections. But if we choose to see our life through a positive lens, we’ll see beauty. It’s important to be mindful of our perspective and to choose a positive and empowering lens when we are making our “Mosaic of Life”.
Most of us at some time in our lives want to write our autobiography, but maybe we aren’t that good at putting the right words on the page, or maybe the words just don’t come as easily anymore. Mosaic art is another way to tell your life story. The individual tiles can come together to create a narrative that’s more than just the sum of its parts. Just like a mosaic, our lives are made up of many individual moments that via a “Mosaic of Life” come together to beautifully tell a story.
So, this is why I recommend you make your own “Mosaic of Life”
