Several times a year I change the focus of RJsCorner to an additional subject. It is presently about being artsy. Starting today is will be about diversity.

When I say “Focus” I don’t mean it in an exclusive way. I will continue to give you “MyArtsySide” posts and all the other things on “My Other Side”, but do expect the subject of diversity to come up more often than in recent times.

Diversity is a topic that is under attack lately. There are a number of people, particularly those who proudly wear red hats, who seem to be threatened by this subject. I am dreaming that this new focus will in a very small way bring calm to some of those folks.

I am going to try to show anyone who will listen that diversity is a big part of what has made America successful throughout its history. To celebrate that fact I will primarily be using quotes from those who are wiser than I. My ultimate goal of course is to help you understand that diversity should not be feared but instead celebrated.
