The pictures shown in the slideshow are from the grounds of the Museum of Indian & Art Culture in Santa Fe New Mexico. It is a fantastic place to visit. Santa Fe is quickly become my favorite city on Native-America culture and history. It is a very interesting fact that the Pueblo Nation which is in this area is the only nation to not have been defeated by the U.S. government. They still reside on the land of their ancestors.
New Mexico is fast becoming my favorite State. I love all the mountains and even the arid landscape but especially the adobe houses and buildings. In the future I will be including many of the towns and such but for this post it is all about the countryside. Click on any pic below to see a larger version slideshow.
A Snippet Here, A Snippet There..
Just a quick post this morning to give you an interesting picture of some pueblo art I found recently in Santa Fe NM. I simply love so much about this area of the country.
I find Native American art to be some of the most creative around. I found this one at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center in Albuquerque NM a few months ago.
