All I Know — Grow a Backbone…..

All this political foolishness is getting insane. I just wish the president would grow a backbone and tell congress to give him what they gave the previous president seven times. Give him a “clean” bill that raises the debt limit in the next three days. Yes we need to look at spending but we don’t need to put the country in a totally unnecessary peril to do that. Those guys are risking everything I have spent my life saving for my retirement.

This game playing stupidity has gone on for much too long now.  Its time for some “grownups” in our nation’s capital to take charge…..   Where will we get them??

President Obama please don’t let me down once again.

But what do I know….

  1. With absolutely no ability to lead and rampant stupidity and selfishness to boot,, I’d like to see a national movement to replace every single member of Congress. Not a few, not one party, not a certain political slant, but every single blasted one of them. Since they are serving absolutely no purpose and certainly are not serving the citizens of this country, what is preventing us from dumping them all?

We, the citizen, are the ones who need to show a backbone. Blow every single one of them out the door. A Clean Sweep.

  2. Morning Bob. I kind of think the same; we need a French Revolution except without the swords! Almost all those yahoos don’t seem to understand that most of the people want them to quit playing politics and become statesmen. It looks like about the only thing that will get their attention is a clean sweep.

It amazes me that the Republicans are allowing such a small group of “Do-Nothings” among them to control their every action. They are intent on one and only one thing and that is to stop anything that the Democrats might want to do. These times are about pure politics with them. I have never seen it this bad in my sixty some years. The Democrats as usual are so disorganized they look like a chicken with its head cut off (yeah I have seen a chicken in that state many times and it is not a pretty site).

One of my favorite moment in congress is where the senator, I can’t remember his name right now, asked Senator McCarthy if he had “No Shame!!” Those words brought the end of the McCarthy years. We need another moment like that again before these guys do permanent harm to our country. But I’m afraid it just might be too late now….
