We have been away from New Jersey for over twelve years now and are quite settled again in our Indiana home. But there are still some things about N.J. that I miss. One of those are the diners and the one in Freehold was our favorite.

Diners are still here in the midwest as well. Ours is about to fall apart—but is packed every day with farmers!

Yeah we got a few here too but in NJ we had about six that were within a fifteen minute drive. Besides this one in Freehold the one in Lakewood was also one of your favorites. Lakewood is primarily a Hassidic Jewish community so we got a regular taste from that culture. Interesting food….
