I am so tired of arguing with barely min wage workers. They are convinced if they got a raise their jobs will disappear. Instead there is a possibility that their CEO would only make a 724.9% raise.
Every time we raise the minimum wage many employers say they will have to layoff workers but it never happens. It is just a threat to try and keep wages down. Until workers have unions or other type of representation they will never get their share of the prosperity that they produce. Instead it will all go to the share owners and especially the officers as bonuses.
