My Misty Morning Friends

Misty Morning Deer.jpg

This picture is not a terribly unusual site here at the homestead. We often see young deer come out of the woods behind our house to munch on the front yard. But what was unusual was the very warm February we had when the picture was taken. Now with the Ides of March just past we seem to be returning to something more normal. Didn’t have to use the lawn tractor snow plow at all this year.

    • Hi Mary, thanks for the concern. I am fortunate that I live in such a beautiful area. I am doing pretty good. Got 28 staples out of my head on Friday and that was a relief. I am still pretty limited physically so lots of time to think about RJsCorner. One of the positive sides of being an Aspie is that I am able to totally concentrate on one thing and block everything else out. That one thing has been reformatting this blog. It keeps my mind off what I can’t do. But I am assured by my neurosurgeon that I will have a full recovery. It will just take some time.

It’s nice to know that people care about me and what I write here.. 🙂

  • I always enjoy your pictures, R.J. You are indeed fortunate to live such a lovely setting. Glad your health is progressing, and with Spring on the horizon you’ll be up and about in no time! But, take care not to overdo :).

    • Thank again Jane for your concerns, they mean a lot to me. I am already chomping at the bit to get going but know it is too early. I did drive for the first time yesterday all of 1.5 miles to browse through Walmart. I was wobblier than I had hoped but did ok.
