I just returned from another trip InSearchOfAmerica.  This one was to Kentucky and Tennessee.  The first post I want to do for this trip is my quick stop at the Kentucky Artisan Center in Berea KY. I was almost overwhelmed with the artistry that I found there. I was first introduced to metal art of this quality while I was living in Guadalajara Mexico. I didn’t realize that our country’s artists produced work like this.

The Artisan Center is a State run organization to promote the local artists. It is well worth the stop if you are in the area.  One of these works now proudly have a place in the Walters homestead as a memory of this journey.
