For this artsy Saturday, I want to talk about jellyfish. Thank heavens I have never run across any them in the wild as I hear their sting is pretty nasty. The only place I have seen them is in city aquariums. The ones shown here were in the aquarium on Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco. The is just something almost magical about them.
I think they are interesting to see in aquariums or photographs but I remember seeing one on a beach once when I was a smallish lad, and looking at it with well-merited unease !

Having grown up spending summers on North Carolina coast I am familiar with jelly fish. Thankfully I avoided them but on occasion my companions had worse luck. Nice pic, RJ.
