What has become of us?
We used to be a nation that the rest of the world looked to for guidance and stability. 
What has become of us? 
We have never been led by an openly vicious, intentionally cruel and proudly ignorant incompetent in our history. 
What has become of us?
Why must today be the day that we ignore just how sick we have become? 
How entirely broken we are?
This has to be the day
This has to be the day that we, ALL of us decide together,  will rise above all this stupidity.
This has to be the day
This has to be the day that we the people once again rise to our noble calling. 
This has to be the day.
This has to be a day that we declare this ugliness, this intolerable, this lying unacceptable.
If not today then when?
