I very much try to keep all my posts here at RJsCorner to 500 words or less. I know your time is valuable, so I don’t want to take up too much of it. But, I have lots of topics in my post queue that simply can’t be handled in one 500-word post. For that reason, I am implementing an InDepth Friday series of sequential posts about a particular subject.
Sometimes the beauty IS in the details.
The overall theme of these series are things that we should learn both individually and collectively as a nation or as occupants of this little blue marble we all live together on.
Of course this also aligns with one of my pillars here at RJsConer and that is to “Never Stop Learning”. Yet another theme that supports this new series is trying to shake off NIH which is the attitude many mistakenly take of thinking if it was not invented here (NIH) then it isn’t worth considering. The USA is especially prone to NIH. We seldom look beyond our shores to find better ways to do things. I will try to make you look things from a different angle.
The series entitled “Sweden vs USA” will start next Friday. It will be about how that country approaches living and life and how it is much different from what we in the US do. Besides being a socialist State (which they really aren’t) they have a different, and I think more healthy, definition of what “freedom” means. More on that next Friday and in Fridays for the coming weeks.
If you have any topics that you would like to see covered by this new series I would be happy to hear them.
