It’s been four weeks since I have written a blog post here. There have been a few that were in the queue before April 29, but they were written before that date. My regular readers know the reason for that is that my wife had a serious heart attack on April 29, and I have been living in a surreal world since then. I will have plenty of journal entries here about those experience in the coming weeks, but for now I will just “Ease Back In” so to speak with a short post here.
My wife is finally out of immediate danger and is going into week 3 in a rehabilitation facility. While the facility is not like home, it is much better than the two week in the hospital not knowing if she was going to live or die.
I thought my brain was going to turn into jello but I, like her, have managed to come out on the other side of it. It will likely take me a couple of weeks to get up to full steam here, so bear with me. I think you will find my personal experiences a teaching tool if you are unfortunate enough to have to go through something like this your self.
Prayers to you both.

So glad your wife is on the mend. It must have been a very scary time for both of you.
Welcome back to fresh blogging. I am looking forward to your insights and thoughts about your experience. At our age, life is pretty much a series of curve balls.

Yeah, we faced a lot of curveballs, that’s for sure. I have my private journal entries covering this year-long month, it will be interesting how they end up as blog posts here. Being off a month I know one thing that is going to change and that is fewer political posts. All those arguments and tantrums just don’t seem important anymore.
