I will be spending this day with some of the family clan. It’s been too many years since I have done that. I have a lot to be thankful for. Not the least of which is you guys who come here on a regular basis. Hope you have a good one too…

Happy Thanksgiving, R.J.! I’ve been reading your blog from the UK but unable to comment, possibly because I only had my phone with me. Now I’m back in the US and ready to eat turkey. 🙂 I appreciate your blog. Cheers!

Happy Thanksgiving to you Laurel, and for becoming a regular here at RJsCorner. I have a few other regulars from UK who occasionally comment so I don’t know what the problem was?
I just came across a definition for Thanksgiving
“Celebrates the day with Americans provided food for undocumented aliens from Europe”

I like that definition of Thanksgiving. Because our adult daughters each celebrated Thanksgiving Day with their in-laws, yesterday was our turn for family day. (Before Covid, we all celebrated as one big group.) All Covid-tested, we had a casual meal yesterday. Teen grandchildren enjoyed seeing each other again, although some of them communicate regularly via FaceTime and other methods, despite living in different towns. I hope your day with your family met your needs and hopes.

Thanks for the thoughts, Linda. Yeah it was a good old traditional Thanksgiving, and I certainly appreciated that. Saw someone I haven’t seen in 50 years. It was nice to connect with her again.
