I’ve been to about 35 State House complexes, but this one is the most unique library I have come across. If I recall correctly, and I may not, it was located in the main Iowa Statehouse building in Des Moines. Given that the Internet has mostly taken over information gathering now, I suspect this is more of a museum now. But, it’s worth preserving. I remember spending hours at the Purdue library going through the stacks and card files trying to find a scrap of information.
