I promise this is the LAST prologue. I have finally figured out how I am going to do RetCom Life. Tomorrow will be the first official (RCL) post.

I was originally going to use RetCom Life (on the margins) to give you a month by month stories about my five years of living in a retirement community. But, the more I thought about it the more I wanted to just do it freestyle. I currently have about 30 topics on my list.

I intend to post from five quite different situations.

1. The Joys – Joyful stories of daily RetCom living.
2. The Challenges of a DND (Deaf and/or NeuroDiverse living in a RetCom.
3. The Whimsical – I love making fun of myself especially all the ironic situations I often find myself in. And then there are the times where life is just a joke. I can’t pass up pointing that out.
4. Day To Day – My general observations of daily living in a RetCom
5. Is RetCom Life for you? – Some thoughts that might help you when you are thinking about RetComs.

RetCom Life (RCL) will not contain much fact based financial or otherwise advice, but instead it will just be a teaching tool, primarily via short stories that gives you one person’s five year experiences, both positive and negative, of what you might expect to discover on your own.

Tomorrow I will start off with a topic 4 post about why I really don’t belong here. 🙃
