I know it has been 4 weeks since I posted here. Some of you have even noticed. Thank you for your concerns. Yeah, these weeks have been filled with some annoying health problems, but that was not the primary reason for my absence.
I have spent much of this hiatus trying to decide where I go from here blogging wise. According to my statistics most of my blog viewers now reside in China. I am happy to introduce them to some of the weirdness of the not so united USA, but my primary goal for blogging these last 18 years has been to help others who struggle with the same things that I do to maybe learn some lessons from my experiences. To that end my blog has pretty much become irrelevant.
So, what do I do now??
This is the question I have been struggling with. I have considered numerous possibilities, but have failed to settle on any one thing. Instead, I found a simpler path. I have decided to go back to one of my most fundamental quests in my life. That is
Simplify
One of the major goals in order to achieve true simplicity is to live in the present and not to worry about the future or dwell in the past. Being the over-thinker that I am simplicity becomes an almost impossible task. My very nature is to spend hours developing detailed plans for what I want to happen. I have finally decided to seriously make simplicity a central theme going forward.
Living in the moment is going to be a challenge for me, but I think I am worth it.
More on all this later…
