Patient Paperweights

No, I’m not talking about a paperweight hospital or the fact that the sole practical purpose of a paperweight is to sit around keeping things from becoming unsettled. What I am talking about is the patience it takes to make a paperweight as shown above. That is what this artsy post is all about.

Are We At The Beginning Of The End, Or The Beginning Of The Beginning?

Things are rapidly changing in our world and that has far too many of us in a panic. Those that fear change think we are at the beginning of the end in almost anything. But those who embrace change think we just might be at the beginning of the beginning. That is what this post is all about.

A Class Action Suit…

Since I am house bound through these winter months I have been watching more TV. It seems as though one commercial is from a drug manufacturer convincing you to buy their product and the next is from a lawyer wanting you to sue someone. That is what this post is all about.

Plan Your Life As If You Are Going To Live Forever…

One thing I seem to be learning lately is the title of this post. I am a septuagenarian so that may seem like a strange lesson to learn at this point in my life. That is what this post is all about.

Then N’ Now – Cars

Let’s continue our journey in the Then N’ Now series with a discussion of cars. Anybody that has seen the “Velocity” channel knows that the cars of my era are now worth many times more than their original purchase price. Would I rather have a 1970s car or one made today? That is the topic for this post.

Chapter 3 – TimeLine Chronicles and A Wider View Of History

This post is about how TimeLine Chronicles, which is a new site I am now working on, is going to take a much broader view of history than anything I have covered at RJsCorner.

RJsCorner – My Public Journal

With my recent obsession with being more creative lately I have come to more thoroughly understand where RJsCorner fits into the scheme of my creative life. That is what this post is all about. Sort of…

There Is Only One Thing Worse Than Being An Aspie…

From my “Introduction to Journalism” class I took in college I learned that the headline is the primary reason most stop and read an article. I learned that lesson well it seems. 😏 I’m not saying that having Aspie traits is awful, in fact I think they have enriched my life in more ways than they have hurt. But I am saying that another condition combined with Aspie traits makes life almost impossible at times. That is what this post is all about.

Mac Malware??

It is pretty unusual to see malware on a Mac. But, like the one that told you that you need to update Adobe Flash a few years ago, this one wants to install code that allows things like more commercials to run in your Internet browser. I’m pretty sure this only occurs if you are using Apple’s Safari browser and you are visiting sites like Youtube. This particular malware is pretty unsophisticated so has an extreme low success rate for most users. Long story short, if you come across something like you see below don’t click on the OK button. … Continue reading Mac Malware??

Creating Speech From Brain Signals

Synthesized speech coming directly from brain activities is a somewhat new field of science, but it seems to be advancing at a pace unheard-of in scientific discovery. That is what the post is all about.

My Life Flashed Before My Eyes…

This post is about the old saying that when you think you are facing imminent death, your life flashes before your eyes! I don’t know if that is true or not, but I would kinda like a longer review of my life than that. That is what this post is all about.
