No the title above does not mean that this is a tribute to The Sound Of Music. But it is about two of my favorite things and that is Hoosier Cabinets and historical re-enactors. I was once in the business of making Hoosier Cabinets reproduction. They were the home baking center in the early 1900s in many rural homes. I also totally admire all those who help us to understand how life was in past ages.

Yeah, MQ I loved the utility and the beauty of the cabinets. Sometime I am going to have to put out a post showing some of the reproductions I made. They were a popular part of my line and I was even able to get the flour storage and such for those who wanted an accurate reproduction.
