To those who lived there between 1934 and 1963 Alcatraz, otherwise known as “The Rock”, was a brutal place. But now that it sits as a tourist attraction in the San Francisco bay it seems much more tame. And of course, with my abstraction here it is down right beautiful don’t you think?
