During Longaberger’s heyday, in addition to collecting baskets, many people enjoyed learning to make baskets too. I have several of Longaberger baskets, which I still use. A good friend of mine collected them like people collected Beanie Babies. Unfortunately, they no longer bring the big prices they once did. But fortunately unlike Beanie Babies they are at least useful, if you don’t have too many. 😬
