No matter how hard the shell is that people build around themselves, there is always a creamy center.

At least that is how some of us view things. Getting to that creamy center is not always easy. Narcissists and autocrats build grenade style shells around themselves, while those who wear their heart on their sleeve hardly have one at all.

You could say that those of us who have Aspie traits have a giant hole in the middle of our shell, and our creamy center oozes out regularly. That surprises many who protect their core for fear that others wouldn’t like what they see. They think showing their creamy center makes the vulnerable.
