I have spent a lot of time here on RJsCorner talking about what I think is presently wrong with the U.S. In the same light, I also talk much about what has happened to Christianity. I have written so many posts on these topics that some of my readers seem to have the impression that I hate God and America! I certainly need to do more posts about what I love about both these things.
It’s not that I hate either, it is just that I am so disappointed in some of the paths these two institutions have been travelling lately. My second excuse for the negative posts is that I am simply “Mr. Fix-it”. When I see something that can be improved, it is the core of my being to find ways to do just that. I don’t know if this is part of my Aspie traits, or just part of my particular nature?
I have three special projects that I am currently in the process of fabricating here on RJsCorner:
- Quakerism Revisited – This will be a revisit of posts that I wrote more than a decade ago. The purpose of this project is to discover how much I have evolved spiritually during this time.
- Words of Wisdom – Tolstoy – I recently discovered Leo Tolstoy and how prolific a writer he was. He is now one of my heroes/mentors on what it means to be a writer.
- Americana – To balance out my concerns about what is happening in American politics, I am going to do this special project which will give you some cultural history by telling you stories with multiple pictures of the places I have visited over my lifetime. I love this country and I think I can prove it via this project.
America, meaning generally the U.S. has a many historic places, and I have visited many more of them than I can count. So, to try to balance out my posts about things that now concern me, I will show you some of the reasons that I am proud to be an American.
I believe that this will be a very fruitful path for RJsCorner in 2023.
All three topics are worthy of your attention and analysis. I am especially intetested in your series on the Quakers and their place in helping to heal our society in the 21st century.

Thanks for the continuous encouragement, Bob. The Quaker posts are the ones that are most important to me at this time in my life. I will get into on the first non-prep post of the series coming soon.
