I’m here to tell you that I discovered through years of experience that worrying works if you put in the effort. How can I say that? It’s because the vast majority of things I worry about never happen. I often wonder what my life would be like if I didn’t worry enough to make my problems disappear.
OK, enough of this foolishness. 🙃 The logic behind the above paragraph is as faulty as many other things I see in the world today. Some people are so concerned about how other people live that they believe they must do something to force others to do the “right” things. Of course, the right thing is what they say is right.

There are some who worry about things that have long since be proven wrong. I suspect that there are still some members of the “Flat Earth Society” who worry about flying off the edge of the world.
The tragic thing about this behavior is that some, maybe many, worry so much that they actually make the thing they are worrying about happen. That’s kinda what I see when I encounter Christian-nationalists. They think that to preserve their various beliefs, it is necessary to force others to believe what they do. In their mind, if they don’t, the world will most certainly end.
By their convoluted worrying, they just might just be causing their own demise.

There are two well-known quotes about worry: Mark Twain’s “I’ve had a lot of worries in my life, most of which never happened, ” and from the Bible, “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?”
Good guidance.
