Fading Away…

My interest in the outside world is fading away, day by day. Every time I see the view looking down my RetCom hallway, as in the picture to the right, I think of the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel. Personally, it’s time to reevaluate how I am spending my days.

I simply don’t want to see another image of that narcissist wannabe dictator. It seems the entire “press” has turned into a paparazzi tabloid when it comes to him. Whatever gets the most views is now the truth. I am simply sick of it!!

As a result, my view of the world is now dramatically shrinking as each day passes. I no longer want to waste much time on what is happening now. I won’t be around much longer, so I will leave fixing this mess to others. I hope they are capable of doing what is necessary to bring sanity back into the world. Given my current attitude, I have my doubts. We will likely have to go through some cataclysmic times, most likely a cultural or holy war of some sort, before that happens. Will our country survive? Who knows?

For most of its 18-year history, this blog has been subtitled

I just don’t believe that the last part of this subtitle is in me anymore. I want to spend more time on pleasant thoughts, so that necessarily includes looking mostly back than looking at the present or future.

I have always had my serious challenges in life that have caused periods of anxiety and depression, but I have also had many joyful moments that are worth recalling and even celebrating. Concentrating on pleasurable feelings was the primary reason I started my new blog RJsMosaics early this year. At first, I contemplated just adding it to RJsCorner, but decided that is not the road to go. RJsMosaics needs a fresh start.

While my view of the world is shrinking, “Having My Say” is still a part of me.

I am hoping that some of you who have stuck around my corner over the years will now include RJsMosaics in your weekly visits with me. I have put a lot of work into this new site to entice you to make the switch. I already have over 100 possible topics lined up.

RJsMosaic, which is now fully on-line, is more lighthearted than what you often see here lately. If you want to get a more in-depth understanding of what RJsMosaic is all about, click HERE

  1. The caricature that is he who shall not be named becomes more outrageous with each passing day. In order to stay on the front (10) pages, and keep the media engaged, his statements and behavior must become even more bizarre.

If the majority of Americans decide to follow this idiot to hell, then we deserve our fate.
