I thought someone might appreciate my new artsy plant stands for displaying my ever-increasing plant collection. The stand itself is very artsy. I like that.
One of the things about being an “elder orphan” is that there is no one to show off my talents to, except for my online friends.
In case you didn’t know, an Elder Orphan is a person with no living relatives. My wife has been gone for 4 years now, and because we married late in life we had no children, and obviously no grandchildren. So except for some once-every-three-years or so visits for distant relatives, I am pretty much on my own.
I like LOMO (life on my own) as I don’t have to compromise with anyone when it comes to TV shows, what to have for dinner, or even when to go to bed. But it can get lonely on occasion. 😃
RJ's Corner - Having My Say 
As my wife frequently reminds me, LOMO is not currently an option. We’ve reach amicable arrangements with TV: We each have out own computers with large screens and head phones to which we stream whatever we like. For meals, we alternatively cook for each others, interspersed with days when we cook just for ourselves. And as the wife has always been up with the larks while I’m up with the owls, we worked out compromises decades ago.
I do like your plant stand and the choice of plants to populate it.

Thanks for the thoughts, Barry. My wife and I had very much the same arrangements. For the most part, for 35 years they worked out fine.
