I love my pet projects here at RJsCorner. They give me fresh ideas for posts. I do enjoy stretching myself when it comes to new topics. Over the years, I have had many “pet projects”. They seem to come in a flash and sometimes stick around for a good while, but sometimes they are a flash-in-the-pan.
My latest pet project is “Baby Boomer Contributions To The World”. This project came about due to a recent post about those who claim that we Boomer are the cause of all the current problems in the world. Those who make these claims seem to ignore the contributions we have made during our time in power. To that end, this new project will be to celebrate all the contributions have made in the last 50 years.
I don’t mean to toot my own horn, but I am kinda proud of our accomplishments shown in the graphic above. Keep and eye out for posts expanding on the above themes in the coming weeks.
Let’s close out this post with some thoughts about pet projects. I have had about a dozen pets during my adult lifetime. But one thing I have learned is that they are the most enjoyable when done alone or in pairs. Too many pets at one time make life a challenge. The same thing goes for pet-projects. They need to be enjoyed in small numbers. Too many projects can spoil the bath water. I usually don’t tell you when I drop a project, they just don’t get used anymore. That’s the way it should be.
Please welcome “Baby Boomers Contributions to the World”.
